George Canyon is nominated for Bell Aliant Fan’s Choice Video of the Year Award at the East Coast Music Awards which take place March 7th at the Centre 200, in Sydney, Cape Breton. There are very few categories that the general public can vote on and this is one of them.
The video accompanied the first single from his album “What I Do.” The song ” Just Like You” penned by George, Richard Marx and Gary Harrison, was written for Canyon”s young son Kale, who performs and is undoubtedly the star in this video! The story depicts a boy admiring and wanting to be just like his father, while the father appreciates the carefree life his son enjoys. There are wonderful edits and use of colour in this video as well as an engaging performance by George.
