Lund on country awards show lineup

TORONTO
— George Canyon and Carolyn Dawn Johnson will perform
at the Canadian Country Music Awards this September.
Corb
Lund and The Road Hammers are also on the bill, and the Canadian
Country Music Association says more acts will be announced
in the near future.
The
show takes place in Saint John, N.B., and organizers say for
the first time this year, fans will have exclusive access
to floor seats for the event.
Nominees
for the awards will be announced in two weeks.
The
19th annual Canadian Country Music Awards will be broadcast
live on Sept. 11, and will be picked up by American and Australian
country music stations.
The
awards show is part of Canadian Country Music Week —
a four-day music festival that organizers say provides increased
exposure for Canada’s country artists.
