Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames will host their annual Western Night this Friday, February 5th when the Flames face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Scotiabank Saddledome; the evening is proudly presented by Wrangler.

Friday night’s contest will feature a Western theme throughout, including the singing voice of the Calgary Flames, multiple Juno & CCMA award-winning Canadian country artist George Canyon, who will be performing the national anthems in addition to officially launching his new album – “I Got This”. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a free digital download of the album.

There will be appearances from the 2015 Calgary Stampede Royalty, Harry the Horse, and the Guns of the Golden West inside the Scotiabank Saddledome. The evening will also feature an intermission performance from World Champion Hoop Dancer, Dallas Arcand – a high-energy Aboriginal Entertainer from the Alexander (Kipohtakaw) Cree Nation.

As always, Flames Western Night will celebrate Calgary’s Western Heritage and serve as a prelude to this summer’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth – the Calgary Stampede. Fans are encouraged to dress in Western attire for the night.
